Our friendly, experienced driving instructors will always arrive in a comfortable, clean automatic car with dual control for your safety.
We provide driving lessons that focus on practical skills, safety precautions and the joy of driving. With Al’s Driving School it’s all about becoming a confident and safe driver for life.
Our Caboolture driving lessons include North Brisbane, Glasshouse and surrounds and are available from 8am – 6pm Monday to Saturday. Standard lessons last 60 minutes and can be extended with advance notice to suit your needs.
For your convenience, we can pick you up from work, home or school, and vice versa. Our lessons fit around your schedule. All you need to do is make sure you have your learner licence and logbook with you every time.

Heavy Rigid and Heavy Combination Truck Driving Lessons For Professionals

We currently offer automatic lessons in Heavy Rigid (HR) and Heavy Combination (HC) licence training. Multi-Combination (MC) and manual heavy vehicle options coming soon.
In order to begin truck driving lessons, drivers must be at least 19 years of age and have held their probationary licence for at least 2 years. Those relying on possession of a light rigid or medium rigid licence must have held for at least 12 months.
All truck driving lessons are conducted from our Caboolture location. Standard lessons are 120 minutes long. These can be extended with notice to meet your needs if required.

Pre Test Lessons
Once you have been behind the wheel for a while and booked for your practical driving test, we offer a safe and friendly place to practice those key driving maneuvers right beforehand.
Our Pre-test lessons offer you the refresher on things like reverse parallel parking and mirror checks with someone who isn’t Mum or Dad.
We also recommend our Driving Test Environment Simulation, where we run you through exactly what to expect in your practical test. This can be integrated into your normal driving lessons package or offered as a “warm up” session immediately prior to your test to get you in the right frame of mind and feeling confident.

International Licence Transfers
Learning to drive in a new country is about more than just learning a whole new set of road rules. Obviously we teach you these and get you exposed to and used to driving amongst the Qld locals you’ll now be sharing the road with.
You can expect your driving lessons to be tailored to your needs, setting you up for safe, easy driving regardless of your previous experience. To familiarise themselves with our local road rules and gain confidence, we have several students choosing to invest in a few driving lessons, even when not mandated to obtain a local licence.

In order to drive a manual transmission vehicle in Queensland you must pass a practical driving test in a manual vehicle. We are excited to be increasing our fleet to offer manual lessons in addition to our automatic driving lessons
